That would for sure work and be even better then mail !
Do you have that available now ?

  • kuko replied to this.

minigranis Yes, just install the application from the Google or Apple appmarket and try it.

I cant login in the GPS-Trace app on android, trying with the same userid/pwd as I have in my web browser on PC that works fine…
In the app I get Login error - Access denied.

Now I have :-) Is it the “eye” on the geofence that toggles the push messages on/off ?
Will I get notified even if the app is not running ? (Ie after a phone restart if I dont start the app manually)

Yes, push notifications work even if the application was not open

“Eye” only works on displaying the geofence on the map. Notifications will keep coming.

kuko I have the app installed in my android phone but I don´t receive any notification. I have already checked that the app has the notifications enabled but I still I don´t get any notification. If I log into the website I can see all the notifications, but none of them come thought push notification to the phone

el_bueno222 Try uninstalling the application and reinstalling it, possibly due to the latest updates, your installation got in the moment of reconfiguring our internal resources

ashe App uninstalled and installed again but notifications still don’t come through. I can see all notifications in the web, but could the issue be related with my units being legacy?

                el_bueno222 Hello!
Do you see notifications in the notification tab in the application?
If this is the case and push-notifications are not suitable for you, then most likely it is connected with the settings in the your phone. Different phone models have different settings to enable or disable push-notifications.

ashe yes, I can see the notifications in the notification tab in the app, and as I mentioned before I already checked that notifications are enable for the app, but still they are not coming through push notifications. I work in IT, and I’m pretty sure the notification settings in my phone are fine.
Is anyone with legacy devices and an Android phone receiving push notifications?

Как настроить уведомления о потери GPS, GSM сигнала?

                      ksiv78 Hello!
Unfortunately at the moment we do not have such notifications, but we are working to ensure that they appear.

                      3 months later

Hi. Please add email notification feature to received them once unit is out of my geofences. I am using web version of your app, not mobile version on android/iphone. Or maybe you can advise how to receive such notifications on email by using the site https://ruhavik.gps-trace.com/ without mobile. Thank you in advance.

                        Lis Hello!
Unfortunately, at the moment there are no notifications by email, and probably in the near future we do not plan their appearance.
Therefore, unfortunately, you do not have the opportunity to receive information about new notifications via push notifications if you do not use the mobile version of the application

Thank you for your reply. But we have to find a payable solution to receive email notifications e. g. by using another gps tracking service like the https://www.gps-server.net/
where you should pay only 60 euro per year for 5 devices as it much cheaper that wialon-local app which requires 15 BYN per unit in month! So your price is not less $375 for 5 units per year! $1 ~ 2.3BYN And there is no ability to register it for trial.
Ruhavik does not have many important features like these ones:
                        1) Email notifications
                        2) Polygon geozones - I do not to receive notifications when my tracker moves from 1 zone to 2 and so on! I need to receive notification when my unit is out of polygon zone.
                        3) Large tracker tooltips and circles do not allow to find precise position when it is important.
                        4) It is not possible to set your image (I’d like to load very small point image) as it was on orange.gps-trace.com

So I am going to pay 60 euro to gps-server.net instead of using free ‘ruhavik’ to avoid fines if my goats will go to local school area and eat flowers there. I am usual villager in Belarus which raises goats and I have to work in the office too to survive.
I understand that business is business but it is not very friendly to create a fake app (Ruhavik) or suggest a draconian tariffs ($375 per year for 5 units) for compatriots living in villages.
