Hi I have a GV20. Everything works fine, except. The trip is never marked as ending. Once i have arrived at my destination, according to GPS-Trace, the trip is still ongoing, even if the car is parked overnight.. Anyone else experienced this?

indeleted the suit as you say, and recreated. now it’s working perfectly.
why would it have done that?

While studying the latest data coming from your tracker, we found out that sometimes your trackers send single messages with time data, about 1 hour in advance, so there are failures in notifications and trips.

I discovered that even though we are in daylight saving time. I had to set the tracker to 0 (zero) time rather than +1

the only issue with this is, the SMS location query means the time is one hour behind.

for example if I texted POSITION# now, it would send me the location but tell me the time was an hour behind.

For the application to work, the timezone, regardless of location, should be set to 0 (UTC)
In the application, this time will automatically tune to the time zone that you have selected in the device from which you are logging into the application.
But the response to the SMS request will be returned with a timezone of 0 (UTC)

We use several factors to determine the trip.
In your case, the problem turned out to be what messages and how often they arrive while the car is parked. Unfortunately, one of our tools when dividing by trip in this case did not make a break. We will try to fix the problem as soon as possible.
If you want to somehow influence your situation right now, then if you have such settings, you can slightly increase the interval of sending messages while the car is stationary (does not move).

Or are you referring to the time interval for movement when ACC is off?

Current setting is TIMER,5,10#

Yes, you can currently increase the interval of messages when the car is not moving, put more than 5 minutes, maybe 8-10 minutes. At the moment, this will have to solve the problem with your trips until we make changes to the application.

it’s more than I’d want ideally in the long term. But I’m happy to keep it at that until the issues are resolved.
