Just to clarify, what is the benefit of email alert. I used it on the previous gps-tracker to check the movement of the tracked unit back for the year. How many days it was on the way. It is ease, to set up email notification for leaving and entering a geofence.
This is not possible via push notification, because you cannot check it one month later, that your unit was moving a specific day one month earlier. Of course you could walk through all days on the gui, but comenon, noone has the time to check all days back to 1 year… so email notification is the simplest way for this!
This was a very good feature for me, I would like to have it back, cause only with push notification there is no history of movement back to all the years I use the tracker, and emails can be saved and archived. So, please implement this back very quickly, as lot of people would like to use it again as far as it can be seen from this thread.
