kuta Thank you for your quick response!
HomeAssistant is an open source project, where you can create simple or very complex automations for your home, based on all datas available from all integrated devices (from different brands), which eliminates the communication/incompatibility issues between different ecosystems.
Just check this list of already available integrations: https://www.home-assistant.io/integrations/#all
My use case, would be (using Teltonika FMC 130):
1) Monitoring the car position/status directly from the HomeAssistant dashboard (where all devices/sensors status are displayed).
2) Sending different notification types, including TTS (text to speech), using automations, based on car position/speed/status/charging.
3) Montoring the 12V battery voltage, on my EV and sending notifications, when this drops below a certain value. The small 12V battery in some EVs (including my Kona EV) are prone to premature fail.
