hi, I have a bsj-a5e gps tracker that i thought was an original but its actually a clone. i have tried for the last week to get it to work properly with this platform but i have not been able to make it work. i have contacted BSJ and they would not help because its a clone. so i looked online for any instructions on how to set the parameters and i was able to piece together what some of the codes mean and how to program the unit. however i still can’t get it to send data to the ip address. i’m not sure if it is compatible or not with this platform because i can’t find any info here either, from i can determine the unit is offline but i can’t be sure. i can however send and receive status info from the unit.. as far as the sim, t mobile affirms that all the sim requirements are ok and their system even recognizes the sim number, although they show the unit as a KM-01 Boshijie device . so go figure that out, weird. Since trackers of different manufacturers and models work according to different protocols, it is difficult to say for sure whether your tracker corresponds to one of the protocols we support.
First of all please try to identify your tracker on id.wialon.net as one of the devices Xexun, Coban, Concox, Resiont TK110, GT06.
If your tracker is determined, take a screenshot, write down the name of the model of the tracker and the identified ID (may coincide with the IMEI, may be part of it with zero or without).
After that return to the application in the unit settings (Unit menu - Settings - Common Settings), specify the determined model and ID. After that, configure the tracker on the defined server and port.

Also you can try to contact the manufacturer and ask which protocols are supported by the mentioned device and send it to us.

hi Dapi,
im one step ahead of you bud. I did try the wialon I’d tool. but unfortunately the unit did not show up on the list. i entered the ip adress but they did not have my device listed so i had to use the closest device they had listed. see pic 1.
regarding the IMEI , the model type, and the rest I included that info in my original post. except for the IMEI which I substituted for zeros. I’ll include it in pic 2. it’s after N: in the text. but as I mentioned Tmobile said it’s KM-01 in their system. i also did read that post you linked but again no results (pic 3)and i tried different settings but i cant be sure if its the correct ones or if something else is missing.
as far as the app , their is no model anywhere close to mine listed. so, thoughts???

Did you try to identify your device as all the devices mentioned in our previous comment? You can also try to identify as a device A5C-8.
If you do not succeed then please try to contact the manufacturer and ask for the protocol that is supported by your device and send them to us via support@gps-trace.com

ac5-8 is a udp device, a5e-3 is tcp. xexun and the others use imei or device i.d. mine can be customized according to instructions. but tmobile showes the imei number I provided but as a km-01 device. the manufacturer refuses to help and won’t even provide a command list because it’s a clone. i..sigh

We did not understand clearly from your answer wether you tried to identify your device on id.wialon.net as we recommended before or not. Otherwise we are not sure if we can help in this situation.
As to the tracker configuration unfortunately we cannot provide support in configuring devices since all the trackers have different settings. Given that, please see the instruction for your tracker or contact your reseller.

hi Dapi, sorry about that grammar was never my strength, plus a lot is lost in writing that one on one conversations can convey. anyhow, i did try but the closest device they had uses udp and mine is tcp/ip so im not sure if the port that i used worked or not. my best guest is that im missing a setup parameter or entering in the wrong ones because from all the digging i have done when my devices returns a sms, the codes between each comma are parameters and its status. one of those says “GP:NO” which apparently means its offline. if i could get a list of commands and what each code means i could solve the puzzle but BSJ will not help and so im left piecing together info from the very few online sources i can find. it bites. seriously this sucks. sigh . but i will keep trying and crack this BSJ puzzle

We did get the sent protocol but unfortunately we do not integrate the equipment by ourselves, but work with the equipment already integrated by flespi.

Hello Dapi,
so after more trial and error, and error, and research. I have succeeded in getting the unit to talk to the platform using concox port. buuuut, the longitude it sends is off by 800 degrees. for example it will send 33.3636376373, -917.xxxxx when it should be 33.xxxx, -117.xxxxxx. it does this on every instance. any ideas?…..oh and btw, i had to scroll past more than 5 pages of questions and issues just to get to mine…..so thank you for doing this , that is a lot of vague, random and often thankless questions you guys deal with. and my bad if i was a bit of a jerk. anyways i have logs if you wanna check the
m out.

Our specialists have checked the data that comes from your tracker and unfortunately it sends such distorted data and the issue here is not in the application but because your tracker does not comply with the protocol of the chosen device.

hi, i have since been using concox AT1 ip and port numbers somewhat successfully. looks like the only problem is that it consistently sends the wrong longitude where the first digit should be -1 instead of -9. could i please get a copy of the info you looked at?

Our specialists have checked the data coming from your device for compliance with the concox protocol and they do not match in terms of coordinates: some part of your protocol fits concox protocol but in terms of coordinates it does not.

hi, i dont think i understand why i cant have a copy of my units logs that you looked at but ok i guess. in any case since your specialists are the only ones with access to the information and com protocols, could you advice me which unit would work best so i can use its ip and port. i figure that if i was able to figure out through trial an error, and without knowing much how this works, that concox kinda worked then your specialist should have a much better idea what to use. thanks

Ok I understand that. But that’s not what I was asking. Since your specialist have all the info and I can’t get a copy to try and figure out own my own, what is the best ip and port I can use. In other words what device is the closest that they are able to determine with the info they looked at.

The value of «lon» parameter which means longitude, according to your documentation, should not exceed 324000000, and your tracker is sending 1651459140 value - that is why your location is incorrect. As it appears your tracker has an error: it sends an invalid longitude.

You can try to configure it to another soft and compare the data. Also we recommend you to apply to the seller of the tracker to with the possibility of its replacement with a new one.
