Ago we were talking about why to send email, in the SOS function that my tracker has (XEXUN TK-103-2), as it had been doing with the previous platform.
In my case I have geofences and they work very well in the new application, as was done previously via email in the orange application.
What I want is for the SOS function to recover, that is, if you press said button of the tracker, I can be aware that this fact has occurred. In my case I have a taxi, and if my driver activates this button, I would have the possibility of having knowledge of that fact. (I would call him, and if he does not answer, I put the function on listen, and later if I check that something is wrong I can call the police).
Previously the old orange application had this possibility, to notify via email, as well as a limited number of times for geofences, if you did not have a paid account. But now there is no possibility of notification of any kind. Neither through notification by the application, by pop-up (notice), sms, or email.
Now I press the SOS button on my tracker and I don’t have any kind of notification.
In any case, I would like to point out that you are implementing the application very well and although in the first instance I was a little reluctant, to the new application. I have to consider that very useful and good things are being done.
For example: Put the device’s route during the day in Play mode, send a link to another person you want, so they can see the real-time tracker, the device’s route stops, etc.
