Hello,

I have TK915 for about two months (as of 3.10.2021). And when I got it, I set it up all according to manual and everything worked perfectly. But as of October 24th I stopped receiving SMS and messages from android applications.
I thought it might not be working because the battery is low. I charged the battery but haven’t received any info from SMS or application ever since.

I tried to reset tracker. First I removed GSM card, then put it back. And through SMS commands I set up the tracker again. All commands:

reset123456,
begin123456,
apn123456 XXXXXX
apnuser123456 XXXXX
apnpasswd123456 XXXXX,
gprs123456,
shock123456,
G123456#,
and after each I received SMS OK (begin ok, gprs ok, shock ok,…….)

Check123456 and after this command I received status. After G123456# I received coordinates, but when tracker(car) moved, shacked etc,…. RECEIVED NO message whatsoever. In android application I see that device is GPS offline!

Olá, bom dia. Comprei um TKSTAR TK915 e comprei um chip da operadora VIVO, a mais recomendada dentre os usuários. Ocorre que, ao inserir, ele deu sinal, estava ativo, contudo, logo após parou de funcionar, ficando off no sistema e não recebia mensagens SMS. Fui na operadora, troquei o CHIP e instalei, configurei novamente e durante a noite até o horário da manhã funcionou perfeitamente. Pela manhã, fui testar novamente, estava OFF. Apenas o LED AZUL pisca, o AMARELO não pisca, fica aceso permanentemente, ou seja, informando que está OFF. Já retirei o chip e coloquei novamente e o problema perdura. Não estou aprovando esse aparelho.

TKSTAR changed firmware due to a bug they had. If you have a unit that hangs and does not report it is due to this bug that connects to 2G but will not reconnect to 3-4G or LTE when the unit moves from one tower to another. TK905 was the worst and the bug I found. TKSTAR has thousands of these units out from multiple china vendors that do not work as advertised.
