upgrading gps device and don't want to loose unit data

Hi, I’m upgrading my Teltonika FMB020 to FMB003. I’d hate having to create a completely new unit in GPS-tracer app and loose all historic data like mileage count and trips and so on. GPS device is running in our camper and it’s great to have all trips in the history. Is there a way to change the device in a unit setting without loosing historic data?

Dear Jan-WillemRosse,

You can change the device type in the application in the Settings - Hardware tab by clicking on the pencil icon and selecting a different device type and a different ID.
At the same time, the history of trips, mileage, etc. will be preserved.
Please note that after changing the device, you will need to configure the new tracker to send data to the server and port specified in the application. Also, don’t forget to set APN and UTC 0 time zone on the tracker.
