Dear achorubiales,
Our application works only on the basis of the data that your tracker sends.
Internet traffic consumption by your tracker depends on how it is configured, what kind of data and how often it sends.
And of course, the more often the tracker sends data, the more Internet traffic it uses. At the same time, the amount of data depends only on the tracker settings, and not on our application.
In your case, we recommend the following to solve the problem:
1 Contact your mobile operator in order to select the most suitable tariff plan, according to the requirements of the tracker.
- Try to configure the tracker so that it sends the minimum set of data you need (for example, send data less often; do not send data when the ignition of the vehicle is turned off; do not send data during a certain period of time (for example, you know that at night your car is always on guarded parking lot), etc.)
Our application only processes the data received by the server and in no way affects the Internet consumption on the SIM installed in the tracker.
You can find more information about internet traffic consumption at our blog at https://gps-trace.com/en/blog/consumption-of-mobile-traffic-gps-trackers
If you have further questions, please don’t hesitate to write us, we will try to help you.
