Is it possible for two devices with the same IMEI to be logged into the platform, on different accounts? I noticed that when my COBAN GPS 109 locator (working as COBAN TK102) is turned off (physically) or goes to sleep, my account is always online. Sometimes it even lands somewhere in South America. The TOOLBOX transmits data with the position in that region all the time. I deleted the device from the account and added it again, there was no message that a device with such IMEI already exists and sometimes Iām still in Poland, and sometimes in Mexico or Chile. My IMEI 359710040534845, account paramotor1111@o2.pl
Two devices on different accounts with the same IMEI?
Hello, Tomek ,
This became possible, since most likely there is a fake tracker with the same ID, which was once entered into the system, but then deleted. But the fake device did not stop sending data to the application, that is, the configuration was not changed in it.
Just for information, we have 4 units with this ID in the system, and they are all in different parts of the world and on different accounts.
In this case, we recommend that you point your device to a different server and port.
To do this, change the device type to just Coban in the Common settings of the unit and then point your device to the new server and port you get after changing the device type.
It is necessary to do, to avoid such cases.

Hello, Tomek ,
Please try to change the device type to just Xexun in the Common unit settings of the unit and then point your device to the new server and port you get after changing the device type.
As we expected, the problem is in a fake device that sends data to the server and port, so the data is confused.
When you change the device type and redirect the device to a new server and port (Xexun) then everything should be better.
