Currently, it is not possible to change the IMEI - the change is not saved and the old number is still visible - the only method is to delete and recreate the object. (if it is the second or third object, recreating it is not possible)

It is also not possible on a new account where there is only one object ..

    I don’t think the problem is just with my account. I have created a new account and it’s the same problem. It is no errors displayed. Simple, if you change the IMEI and click “Save”, the standard “connecting” window appears. The ID / IMEI remains as it was before - the change is not saved. It is the same with the application on the phone as with the web.



    The test result and screen are attached. In the first picture, the changed IMEI. In the second picture, the screen after pressing Save. As you can see, the entered IMEI number has not been saved.

      As we can see, unit with this ID is not regisered in our system.

      If you need to see your vehicle in the application, then you must have a tracker installed on it.

      1. Firstly you should register and login in the application. – https://gps-trace.com/en/help/ruhavik/registration-and-login
      2. Then it will be enough to create a unit in the system. – https://gps-trace.com/en/help/ruhavik/create-unit
      3. And direct your device to the server and port specified on the Hardware tab in the Unit settings.
      4. As soon as your device starts sending data in messages to the server, you will immediately see it in the application.

      If you have a problem with device configuration it is better to contact the device manufacturer or dealer for the tracker settings.
      Also, information on settings can be found in the instructions for the device.

        Usually, you can send an SMS command to your tracker, and the tracker will respond with its IMEI number. We recommend trying this first to retrieve the IMEI.

        Please note that not all trackers have the capability to change their IMEI. This feature is often restricted by manufacturers and is not commonly supported.

        Additionally, we strongly advise against changing the IMEI of your tracker. Altering the IMEI can cause data confusion between different trackers and lead to issues with proper device identification on the platform.
