Hi there. I’m wondering if anyone can help with an issue I have. I bought a second-hand SInoTrack ST-915 a few weeks ago and have spent hours testing it with various settings. With whatever settings I use, the device powers off after a few minutes of continuous movement. If I move it from one place to another and then leave it there, it’s fine. It’s only when it’s being moved continuously for about 5 minutes or more that it powers off. Sending it an SMS does not wake it. Popping the SIM card in out and in does not wake it. Shaking it or moving it further does not wake it. The only think that will wake it is plugging a USB cable in to charge it up. It then wakes immediately and registers back on the mobile network.
Here’s the current settings (with my mobile and the device number asterisked out and a couple of spaces added to stop the emojis):
ST-915 3G/4G,ID:702***** 56,UP:0000,U1:07*******75,U2:,U3:,MODE:GPRS-MOVE,DAILY: OFF,GEO FENCE: OFF,OVER SPEED: OFF,VOICE: OFF,SHAKE ALARM: ON,SLEEP MODE: ON,APN:pp.vodafone.co.uk,wap,wap,IP:220.127.116.11:8090,GPRS UPLOAD TIME:60,180TIME ZONE:E0
Any pointers to resolving this would be most welcome. Thanks.
