New TK905 protocol

Hello, I believe some friends have discovered that “there is a new version of TK905/TK905B 4G, Type C input, and the original protocol has also changed to JT808.” And wondering how to get the device online!

Here is a solution:
The new version TK905 4G uses the JT808 protocol.
You can choose the Huabao protocol, but you need to add one or two “0″ in front of the 10-digit ID number.
Then it will work.

The original platform can see the battery value so this value is sent by the tracker.

In order to connect a tracker with a specific protocol to GPS-Trace platform, you need to select the protocol you need when creating a unit.

In addition, you can change the device type later in the unit settings - Hardware https://gps-trace.com/en/help/ruhavik/unit_settings . Please note that after changing the device type, you will need to configure the tracker to send messages to the new server and port.

The problem is that the JT 808 protocol has many versions with some differences. At the same time, there are also a huge number of clone trackers. Therefore, without connecting the tracker to our system, it is difficult to say which protocol will work.
