The GPS-Trace team is constantly evolving, using various tools and methods:
🌍 We have new applications (like the recently introduced application for our partners, Forguard);
🌍 We are continually adding new features and refining existing ones in applications already well-known to our users and partners: Ruhavik, Petovik, and Partner Panel;
🌍 We integrate new trackers into our platform, allowing more users to benefit from our solutions.
Our motivation for development is understanding the benefits of GPS monitoring for our users and partners in solving personal and business tasks, confirmed by statistics. For instance, according to the 2023 Fleet Technology Trends Report, 96 percent of fleets find the use of GPS monitoring software beneficial.
As we know, trackers can be divided into three types depending on the type of installation:
- Autonomous (on magnets, locks, etc.): this type of tracker accounts for up to 10 percent of the total number of trackers used by users of our applications;
- Trackers that easily plug into special sockets and do not require installation;
- Trackers that require installation.
Today, we want to talk about one manufacturer of autonomous trackers whose devices are integrated into our platform - Digital Matter. The company positions itself as a pioneer in the IoT asset tracking market and manufactures the most durable battery-powered asset tracking equipment.
At present, our system has integrated 21 types of Digital Matter trackers with various properties and characteristics.
However, as we have already mentioned, today we will discuss Digital Matter trackers that do not require connection to a power source as they operate on batteries.
These trackers are suitable for tracking units where it is not possible or impractical to connect the tracker to a power source. The installation of such trackers is extremely simple and saves time and costs on technical work necessary for the installation of trackers that require external power sources.
📍Digital Matter Remora3 is a tracker with the longest battery life on the market, and it allows for second-by-second tracking, which was previously only achievable on a wired device. Moreover, it enables very precise monitoring of speed, run time, and mileage of mobile assets such as rental equipment, trailers, cars, and much more.
It is an ultra-rugged, indoor/outdoor asset GPS tracker and Bluetooth gateway. The device features GNSS (GPS/BeiDou), Wi-Fi AP MAC address scanning and Cell Tower location for indoor/outdoor asset management, Bluetooth 5.2 Gateway for tagged asset management and sensor monitoring, up to 10+ years on Lithium Thionyl Chloride (LTC) batteries for extreme temperature operation, cloud-based location solving (versus on-device) for substantial power savings, low battery and critical battery alerts, magnetic tamper detection, IP68 weatherproof housing, LTE-M / NB-IoT connectivity, and more.
📍Digital Matter Oyster Edge is an ultra-rugged, indoor/outdoor asset GPS tracker and Bluetooth gateway. The device features GNSS (GPS/BeiDou), Wi-Fi AP MAC address scanning and Cell Tower location for indoor/outdoor asset management, Bluetooth 5.2 Gateway for tagged asset management and sensor monitoring, up to 10+ years on only 3 x AA user-replaceable batteries, cloud-based location solving (versus on-device) for substantial power savings, low battery and critical battery alerts, IP68 weatherproof housing, LTE-M / NB-IoT connectivity, and more.
📍Digital Matter Yabby3 is a compact and ultra-rugged battery-powered 4G GPS asset tracker with 10+ years battery life. The device features 3 x AAA user-replaceable Lithium batteries, ‘Battery Low’ and ‘Battery Critical’ alerts, IP68 casing, LTE-M/NB-IoT connectivity, and more.
📍Digital Matter Oyster3 is an ultra-rugged and robust 4G GPS asset tracker and Bluetooth Low Energy Gateway with 10+ years battery life. The device features 3 x AA user-replaceable Lithium batteries, Bluetooth 5.2, ‘Battery Low’ and ‘Battery Critical’ alerts, IP68 casing, LTE-M/NB-IoT connectivity, and more.
In conclusion, we would like to remind you that on our website we have a list of devices integrated into our system. For searching and selecting a suitable device, you can also use the hashtags attached to the devices: #common, #vehicle, #mobile, or #pet. These tags allow you to filter the trackers based on your goals.
If you have a tracker not integrated into our system, please write to us at support@gps-trace.com to clarify the possibility of using your tracker with our applications.
