The Teltonika FMC650 can read odometer data from multiple sources, such as GPS, LVCAN, FMS, or K-Line. You can configure the preferred source in the Teltonika Configurator under System settings > Odometer Source settings.
To get the current odometer value, use the odoget SMS/GPRS command. In GPS-Trace, the odometer is usually shown as the vehicle.mileage parameter.
Receiving additional OBD values (e.g., engine RPM, fuel level, DTCs) is normal if your device is connected to the vehicle’s CAN bus. It means the tracker is successfully reading diagnostic data.
To ensure all values are transmitted correctly, we recommend enabling Codec 8 Extended on your device.
