Hello everyone. I would like to thank anyone who can help me. I entered a wrong phone number as “admin”. Is there a way to hard reset the device, without sending SMS?

If the password has been changed and you do not know it, please try sending the following SMS command:

reset123456

This command uses the factory default password and may still work even if the password has been changed, as it performs a full hardware reset.

If sending an SMS is not possible, you can perform a physical reset:

Power off the device completely.
Open the device casing and remove the battery.
Wait for 30 seconds.
Reinsert the battery and power the device back on.

Hello, If the admin phone number was entered incorrectly, there is usually no way to reset the GPS Trace device locally. Most trackers require a reset command sent by SMS from the registered admin number.

If your device has a physical RESET button, consult its manual, but many models do not erase the admin number with a hardware reset. Otherwise, you’ll need to contact the device manufacturer or seller for a firmware reset or reprogramming procedure.
