However, we recommend the following in your case:
Authorized Numbers: Double-check that the authorized numbers are correctly set. Use the commands again to set the authorized and admin numbers, and make sure you receive a confirmation message from the tracker.
Check Command Format: Ensure that the SMS commands are sent in the correct format and that there are no spaces or errors in the command syntax.
Check SIM Card: Ensure the SIM card in the tracker has sufficient balance for sending SMS and supports SMS functionality. Make sure the SIM card is properly inserted and activated.
Network Settings: Verify that the APN (Access Point Name) settings for the SIM card are correctly configured. You can set the APN using the command 803#APN# (replace APN with the correct APN for your mobile network).
Signal Strength: Ensure the tracker is in an area with good GSM signal strength. Poor signal can prevent the tracker from sending SMS.
Factory Reset: If you haven’t already done so, perform a factory reset using the command RESET#. After resetting, reconfigure the APN, authorized number, and admin number.
Test SMS Commands: Send a simple SMS command to the tracker to see if it responds.
Battery and Power Supply: Ensure the tracker is properly powered. A low battery or unstable power supply can cause issues with SMS functionality.
Check Device Manual: Refer to the GT06D user manual for specific troubleshooting steps and command formats. The manual can provide insights into specific commands and settings for your device.
