Hello, KelaBroo ,
If you mean setting up the device itself, then it is best to contact directly the seller or manufacturer of the device itself. Also, information on setting up the device can be found in the instructions for the device.
If you mean the setting in the Ruhavik application.
In this case, first of all, it will be necessary to determine the type of device (i.e. the protocol on which the device is running) on id.wialon.net. To do this, see the guide below:
Since trackers of different manufacturers and models work according to different protocols, it is difficult to say for sure whether your tracker corresponds to one of the protocols we support.
Please try to identify your tracker on id.wialon.net as Xeelectech LK210, Rilla G19, Concox GT06N or Cantrack TK100v2. Start your search with Concox GT06N.
If your tracker is determined, take a screenshot, write down the name of the model of the tracker and the identified ID (may coincide with the IMEI, may be part of it with zero or without).
After that, return to the application in the unit settings (unit menu - Settings - Common Settings), specify the determined model and ID. After that, configure the tracker on the defined server and port.
Regarding the server, you can also read more information here https://forum.gps-trace.com/d/586-ip-and-dns-server-formats-in-the-application
In addition, I will explain that you define the type of device on id.wialon.net only in order to understand the type of device that must be used when creating a unit in the application.
Then you create a unit in the application. – https://help.gurtam.space/en/article/how-to-create-a-unit
In the Common unit settings, you will find the server address and port where you will need to route your device. –
As soon as your device starts sending data, you will immediately see your device in the app.
You can monitor the data in the unit’s Toolbox. – https://help.gurtam.space/en/article/tools
If you have additional questions or problems in setting up please write us to support@gps-trace.com, specifying your login, unit ID and device photo, we will try to help.
