TK 102 Problems

Some of these devices has firmware that do not support GPRS. It may be your case.

Re: TK 102 Problems

First, you need to enable GPRS by sending GPRS123456, and waiting for the response (GPRS OK!)  This command should activate the "Connection" icon at gps-trace within a minute or two (the icon should turn green indicating an open socket connection).

Keep in mind that sending the GPRS command effectively cancels any prior setting for position intervals.  So you'll need to send the interval command after the GPRS command (ie: t020s***n123456).

Also, as Shal has indicated, some device's firmware may not proerly support GPRS...

Re: TK 102 Problems

Purchased on ebay, you probably have a clone/copy, not original TK102. I have tried a few, and many of them do not work ok with GPRS, so you will have to use it with SMS.
