I want to have GPS tracker with long battery life. I hope It only needs to report when alarm/movement sensor is triggered or a manual position request is sent. I understand GPS reception drains batteries so regular postion update is not necessary, until an alarm is raised. With long battery life I mean like a year or even longer.

  •    3 years standby time (1 position per day)

Configuration allows it to wake up on a preset schedule to acquire location data and transfer data to server, and then returning to a dormant state, which mechanism increasesthe durability to 1000 days. More information at http://www.jimilab.c...et-tracker.html
