Hi,

from time to time we get some kind of worse data, means the track looks like a zigzag. (or we stay for a number of seconds in iceland)

There may be a problem within the tracking hardware, a problem bundeling gprs data in the tracker, transmission problems a.s.o.

What do you think about a user selectable function, which records a specific amount of incoming data from that tracker (when activated)

zips the resultfile and send it to the user (or via download option). This data should be completely unprocessed by any component.

This is because our tracker not only sends data via gprs but also record onto internal media.

Every time this internal media is processed and visualized via kml-files, we can't see any zigzag.

We wanna be able to drill down the problem to the affected component.

Thank you !

yes, the main point you mentioned is the hardware as the reason of that, so tome the easiest way is to select the good model without unnecessary play with raw data. Actually we're considering to release a kind of export tool asked for most of users, but can't give you precise terms for a while.

I myself would like to know this as well... Also would there any chance that this could be a forum by forum basis, or an option when the thread is created? Just curious.
