hi everyone

today I drive my car for about 400 km distance. but when I came home and tried to check my counted distance on the server I found that it shows around 1000 km distance counted for the same route. the initial point and end point and the route all are ok but the counted distance shows 1000 km instead if 400 aprox any idea?

sherif_hafez75, this is because of the GPS drifts:

According to the data messages from you tracker you car was driving back and forth. Which lead to extra mileage.

The problem is caused by data messages with the same time and different coordinates, for example:

but even if you specify a particular period of time like from 10:00 am to 11:00 am when  the car was in a one way direction you find that the distance is also double counted. (the actual distance was 135 km but it counted around 260km)

sherif_hafez75, and the reason is still the same. Your tracker sends data messages where your vehicle moves back and forth.

Our system gets data and displays it but does not change it in any way.
