no more data / app problem?

Hi,

 

I'm using the GPS-Trace app for more than one year. Everything worked fine.

 

Since a few weeks the app isn't working: It doesn't show my car tracker on the map. Only a world map appears on the phone.

I reinstalled the app several times - no access.

I deleted the unit and recreated it again - no access.

 

Meanwhile the internet version was still working. I deleted the unit and created a new one with the old settings. My geofence is still visible - but no car tracker... (file attached).

Is it possible, that the server IP changed? Until now I used 193.193.165.166. Yout hardware info named IP 193.193.165.165. Anyway - there is still no connection...

What's wrong ?

RoGer, your tracking device is sending messages to the .165 IP:

[hw6.hosting] 2018/02/05 07:56:16:579: [INF:6D223700] Received GPRS message from unknown unit(TR06): ID: 358899058501266

Re direct it back to the .166 IP.

 

Please note, before you changed server IP the device was sending messages without coordinates:

[hw3.trace] 2018/02/04 18:34:54:229: [INF:A94CD700] GPRS MSG(TR06): ID: 358899058501266, IP: , MSG: TIME: 18:34:53, TYPE: 0x13, STATE MSG
It may be some kind of a sleep mode or device malfunction.

Is IP .165 or .166 correct ???

RoGer, correct IPs can be found at a relevant page:

http://gps-trace.com/en/hardware/ - .166

http://id.wialon.net/ - .167

 

I suggest you to re direct your tracking device back to the .166 IP which is the IP of gps-trace.com
