Just started research on this topic today.  Amazing!

still looking,

So many approved hardware choices.

I'm looking to install a GPS tracker into the car for anti-theft purposes.

I'm looking for hardware units that are small & easy to conceal.

Are there any with bluetooth output?

I would like to get GPS location to my ipad.

(looking to add one device to the car for tracking and providing GPS data... instead of two GPS receivers, one for car and one for iPad)

Any recommendations?

If I add two GPS receivers that would be OK.

Thank you!

Not2Swift, Bluetooth is a short range technology.

Why do you even bother to use it for the monitoring.

Batter pick any of the genuine TK devices (TK-102 for example).

True

But the bluetooth is for when I'm actually in the car to get location data to my iOS devices. Not for monitoring.

Instead of having two GPS recievers, one for tracking and one for driving.

I could not find any hardware with a bluetooth out.

So I will be ordering the mictrack.com MT-600A

I've also ordered a Garmin Glo for my iOS driving needs.

Not2Swift, install GPS Trace and check your tracking device position via an iPhone.
