It would be very useful to know the meaning of the parameters appearing on the trace monitoring, such as, for example:

valid=

tracker_status=-

tr_status=

(mcc=  mnc= lac= cell_id= ) appear to be positioning values. i.e. cell location data.

I have tested both the AGPS 010 and the AGPS 020 units and they show diffenent parameters on the web. While AGPS 020 shows battery pwr, AGPS 010 doesn't, for example.

It would be good that anybody could provide a list of the meaning of the parameters the web shows.

tks!!

sergi, this is up to the device manufacturer to decide what will be displayed in this or that parameter.

Therefore we do not provide such information.

It is useless when a service supports over 1000 tracking devices with different communication protocols and different naming of each of the parameters.

Still some useful information can be found at our main site (most popular devices have parameter description): https://gurtam.com/e...1120#parameters

I may only suggest you to contact the manufacturer and ask for the detailed explanation on each of the mentioned parameters.

pach, there are no parameters description for the AGPS devices but if you will check lets say Ruptela FM TCO4 you will find the required info.

Once again, the description is available for the popular devices.

And the list was updated:https://gurtam.com/e...-010#parameters

A whole thing depends on the manufacturer.

Some of them care about the customers others not.

But as you can see when there is info provided we are ready to add it.

sergi, as far as I can see the device can send:

battery The standby power consumption %

But this parameter is not in the messages. May be a device should be configured to send this parameter.

At least for now, battery status can only be checked via sms. It would be much better to have this info on the web so as not to depend on sms's.

On the other hand, I have not been able to get the contact details of the manufacturer to ask them how to do it..

No, no, I refer to the contact in Swiss.

I contacted agps Spain and they told me that the battery status can only be checked via sms

Gurtam has been so kind to contact AGPS manufacturer. They have asked about the command to change message format but didn't receive information. Also, they have asked them for the user manual for the device but still didn't receive any reply.

The web-device combination has an untapped potential that doesn't seem very difficult to exploit. However, without the assistance from the manufacturer, nothing can be done.

No reply from the manufacturer. :(

These are no good news.

AGPS should act in a more intelligent way, not providing such a bad image to existing users and also to potential customers who are planinng to purchase an agps tracker.

A response informing us that there is no way to provide such information to orange gps trace would be enough.

However, they have not provided any response. This doesn't create confidence at all.
