Just purchased the MT600 -E and after a bit of mucking around with programming I have finally got my head around it now and it seems to work very well so far. It is installed in my car. the only issue I am having so far is when the car is stationary over night it jumps upto 150m and as such you end up with spirograph pattern all around your vehicle when watching tracking on GPS Trace. I set the ACC on data upload speed to 10 seconds and ACC off upload to 2 mins.

Your GPS accuracy is dependent on several factors.

1.  Install location of the unit. Does it have clear sky or horizon view unhindered by any metal ?

2.  Does your unit have an external / internal GPS Antenna ?

3.  Location of vehicle ? Is the vehicle parked underground, next to or under a structure ?

4.  What is the cloud cover and weather like at that moment ?

Basically the more satellites the unit locks onto the more accurate will be your position fix.

Non-military grade GPS Chips can often bounce around up to 50 metres in optimal or normal conditions.
