Incutex 5000 XL GPS-Trace Orange No connection

Hello!

I'm realy struggling to find a solution to get my tracker connected to GPS-Trace Orange. I read so many troubleshoots but I don't get it.

 

Tracker: Incutex 5000 XL / identical to Wonde Proud SPT-10

I'm using a small program to adjust all settings on my tracker via USB (GPS-Tool 1.2 GPS Tracker Configurator).

What I did so far:
- sim card is activated and works fine
- sim card pin deactivated
- connection looks fine
- tracker is using 193.193.165.166 & port 20431
- I found my tracker on wialon (when I changed to .167)
- set the Unique ID & the device password on gps trace + phone number

 

Now, when I press save I get a green symbol next to my tracker. It says "tracker is online/on". But I can't see my tracker or any other information. Sometimes it changes to "tracker is offline/off". When I'm playing around with settings, like deleting trackers password & saving it, it tells me suddenly "tracker is online/on" - even I switched my tracker off!

 

I read some Log-Files from my tracker via GoogleMaps and everything looks actually good, tracker is working like I want it.

So please, where's the probleme? Below screenshots of settings & my tracker device.

The tracker has been sending messages to the system:
2016/03/02 22:31:22:160: GPRS MSG(Wonde Proud SPT-10): ID: 1000000001, IP: 176.0.xxx.xxx, MSG: TIME: 23:31:19, LAT: 53.59445, LON: 9.976925, SPEED: 0, SATS: 0
For some reason the time was incorrect.
Turn on the device and check again if it updates position.
If not leave here a comment and I will go through the logs again and consider further steps.

So, the tracker is switched on again...but nothing changed unfortunatelly! Green symbol is appearing on your system when I put the default password in.

About the time...I guess I changed it to the european timezone - should be fine.

 

I realy don't know where the probleme is!?

Send a request to ideleted
Write that you have tried to direct the device to the id.wialon.net and it appeared in the list but once you redirect it back to orange it does not update position.

Hello Pach!

 

Unfortunately I didn't get any response of my eMail (send it again today). Is there really no one who could help me!?

What I figured out is that I set on gps-trace falsely the ID from my tracker and not the EMEI (15 digits). But still - it's not working!

 

I'm really clueless...it can not be that hard!

Good morning!

 

I noticed, that I set probably the wrong tracker id. But anyway, now I set the ID what wialon is showing...the same one like before actually.

Unfortunately it's still not running...on gps-trace my tracker is offline.

PS: At the first post I was using the ID 1000000001, I changed it to 1000000003...I thought, maybe someone is using the default settings as well. So there will be no miscommunication now.

The tracker is sending messages:

[hw1.trace] 2016/05/30 11:46:36:999: Received GPRS message from unknown unit(Wonde Proud SPT-10): ID: 1000000003
[hw1.trace] 2016/05/30 11:46:39:879: Received GPRS message from unknown unit(Wonde Proud SPT-10): ID: 1000000003
 
But they are not stored in the history. The issue is caused by the device password most likely.
Delete it completely or double check if the password is correct.

Oh okay.

I just delete the password completely at my tracker, the password line is empty now. (Before 0000) 

Same settings @ gps trace, the pw line is empty. But still, no action @ gps trace.

It may be that the password is set for the device but you have used a wrong one.

When a device is protected with a password we can not store messages in the DB because we do not have corresponding permissions.

You device is working and sends messages and we see it in the logs but unfortunately they can not reach an actual Unit.

Okay, I thought I could delete the pw completely…now it's back to the default one (0000)

Same settings on gps-trace.

 

 

Unfortunately still no action on gps-trace….

The green symbol appears next to "Unknown" but just a few minutes later it's grey again…like in the past.

 

Should I set a new pw maybe….like 1-2-3-4?

We have missed the main point.

Your device is sending messages to the "Wonde Proud SPT-10" port.

While the unit in your account is set to use "Wonde Proud VT-10" port.  :D
